Where oh where has JM gone?
I have to say that the Victors Board is just not the same when Joe is away. Where is the riotous humor? Not to slight the other Victards. And there is some funny stuff happening over there. But JM just puts a different spin on everything.
To JM. Here's another post.
Someone is talking about how Canadians cross the border to the US for healthcare. But look over there! It's a bird, it's a plane, it's Super JM and his killer words (and he sure as shit ain't wearin' no tights.)
WTF are you talking about?

"Canadians drive to the US for health care because it is better than in Canada."
We do? Really? Shit, I better tell people I know, because not fucking
one of them has *ever* trekked to the States for any sort of "health
care".
We only go to the states for plastic fucking surgery. The tit doctors
in LA and the nose doctors in NYC are "the best". Yeah, I know, I
know, some of the world's best surgeons are in the US, and if you're
loaded, and in dire shape, you can see them. Just a guess, but I'll
say that applies to rougly one-tenth of one percent of the population.
No offense, but your health-care system is generally recognized to be
among the least satisfactory in the developed world. We outperform you
on the standard measures of life expectancy and infant mortality. The
U.S. has eight infant deaths per 1,000 live births -- in the same
leagues with the Czech Republic and Greece (dude, fucking *Greece*) --
while Canada has six per 1,000. Canadians also live longer and our
advantage is growing.
Fuck, we're totally gonna own you bitches soon. At a time and place of
our choosing, fatties.
While the rich in America are much richer than rich Canadians, the
poor are much poorer than their Canadian counterparts. I'm not just
saying this to suck up to Jack: There is strong evidence of a link
between income distribution and overall health status -- societies,
like yours, that concentrate wealth in the hands of a few, tend to be
unhealthy, and full of fat ass soccer moms that nobody wants to
picture naked.
Cross-border studies suggest that both Canadian and American systems
serve people in middle- and upper-income groups well, but that there
are marked differences in access for people with lower incomes. It
would be very surprising if this were otherwise, as something like 40
million Americans have no insurance at all, and those who do
increasingly face larger user fees.
Also, you should note that Americans do not get higher quality care
for their money. That's kinda gotta suck, eh? Follow-up studies of
patients on both sides of the border usually show similar outcomes.
There is no clear advantage to either side.
Dude....fucking *Greece* man.
